It’s two weeks before the company picnic and while you’ve
got the big things finalized, there are some last minute details that could use
your attention. Here’s some last-minute tips to help make sure the big day is tons
of fun for everyone.
- Start the
commotion with promotion! Get the buzz going by revving up the talk. Post
fun notices around the office. Share pictures and posts on group pages on
social media. Make and share short videos about the food, activities and games
planned for the day.
- Nail down
that final headcount. This helps to ensure everyone will have full bellies
and go home smiling at the end of the day.
- Party
extras! Do you have money left over in the party budget? If so, there’s still
time to add some extras to your menu or activities. Crowd pleasers include wings,
ribs, seafood or even an ice cream sundae bar! You can also challenge your
adventurous guests with a rock wall climb or laser tag. Up the Instagram ante
with face-painting or pony rides for the kids.
- Plan It
Out. There is nothing better than a well-planned event schedule. This shows
your employees and guests that you have thought of everything to make sure they
have a good time. Share the plans so they can chart out their day and won’t
miss out on any of the fun activities and games you’ve got planned for them.
- Make sure
everyone knows where to go. Have a map with directions, and show them where
to park too.
